Buddy Guy performed Saturday night at Elk Creek Vineyards, Owenton, KY. He roamed the audience mid-song. That's phantomxii in the gray shirt, being sung to!
I'm at a concert and just saw a lady who looked sorta like homebody wearing a hat sorta like the one homebody wore to the Cincy Vox meetup last summer. Homebody wore hers better. This lady's hat was too big in proportion to her head.

Why wait for a camping trip to roast marshmallows? Twelve coals is enough for a tiny fire.
What I really wanted was apple pie, but the only apple pie on the menu is a no-added-sugar version sweetened with Aspartame. That sounded risky, so I went with the cherry cobbler.
All the cobbler components were disappointing. Crust: Underbaked. Crumb topping: Leaden and bland. The cherries were missing in action, their flavor almost completely obliterated by a thick red gel that tasted more like cornstarch than cherries. Like the Mike's Mojito reveiwed earlier, this one's not worth eating.
But then, what was I expecting from a chain restaurant located next door to a hotel? To be honest, I feel like a fool. A really grumpy fool.
Spotted in an art display at an elementary school. Glad they're exposing the kids to famous paintings, but I have to deduct some points for the sign-maker's apparent unfamiliarity with Van Gogh's "Room At Arles."
